It only takes a Sprig or two...

...of some beautiful Forsythia (real or fake)...

...to make the warm days of spring seem ever so closer.

It snowed AGAIN today - but next Monday - 73 degrees!

Come on Spring!

Hope your Spring Spruce-up is well under way!

Cathy, my daughter did a blog post today too on her Forsythia blooming in her yard! It is the most perfect plant and bloom to give a person a bit of encouragement for spring. As Amy said in her comment above we had snow yesterday in Tennessee.... but today the sun has been shining again! Yay for spring - even when it's cold, it's just good to know we are CLOSE to summer!!! Dori

Hi, just came from pinterest. I am looking for curtains for my living room and found them in (I believe) your kitchen or dining room. They are the red ones you made longer. Where did you find them? I am always a day late and a dollar short but just love them. Please email me at gelswood@aol.com Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home. I am going back to look more closely at your blog.

You're so right.. I cut just a couple branches of forsythia a few weeks ago and truly enjoyed it as it bloomed indoors on my kitchen counter..
