...I thought I'd share with you a lil' something that means a great deal to me. You know how our sweet lil' ones always come up with their own way to "word" things. Well, my lil' boy started when he was about three saying "I love you BIG as the ocean". He said it faithfully and it jus' stuck. So I had my sweet friend Diane make me a sign so I could remember it always.
I see it everyday and it reminds me how very blessed and grateful I am for my family.
If you are anything like me and you get caught up in the "busy-ness" of life - you jus' might forget to jot it down in their scrapbook. So making something that you will have forever will help bring back special memories.
Have a blessed weekend my friends. The sun is shining here and it is going to be a beautiful and happy day!
Cathy
What a precious memory and what a wonderful way to remember it! I just love saving all the special things my children make. Your sitting area looks so comfy!

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute saying. My nephew did something similar to his Grandma and we had it put on a bag for her for Christmas. He always said "I switched my mind" instead of I changed my mind. She treasures the bag.
I love snow also. I almost hate to say that this time of year. Everyone is so sick of it.

ReplyDeleteLove the sign too! So Neat!
My youngest didn't call me mommy when he was 2 and 3 he called me "honey", I thought it was the cutest thing but you should have seen people look when we were out somewhere...I didn't care though I thought is was precious and I'll always remember it:)

ReplyDeleteHi Cathy,
ReplyDeleteI just love your red afgan laying over the chair. Did you make it?. If so I would love to have the pattern if you wouldn't mind or let me know what book its from.
You sign is as precious as can be.
Have a wonderful day,

Cathy, that wreath I bought from you inspired me to do my bathroom in reds. I painted my piesafe, and it really looks good. I also love my pin cushion, and am looking forward to giving the other one away. Happy Valentines Day, You're a sweetheart to me and a blessing to our community! Blessings, Linda @ Kindlelight Blessings.
