...more snow. And it was soooo windy and cold but inside...
the greenhouse - seedlings are growing and it was time for transplanting...
geraniums - 1,000 today - with some help from our lil' man...
...but I have to say as much as I love the snow - and I truly do - I'm looking forward to when that geranium Casen is holding looks like this...
Aren't you?
Have a great week everybody!
Cathy
Poor Casen....he gets a day off from school and his mom puts him to work anyway! lol I can't wait until the flowers are blooming. It has been a long, cold winter thus far.
ReplyDeletelove the quilt square on the building
ReplyDeleteSnow still looks good to me--I'll be rady for warm weather soon though.

I for one can not wait for warm weather and sunshine!!! As a girl raised in the south, all this cold weather and snow is more than I can deal with. We aren't getting deep pretty snow that is fun to play in; we have scattered snow flurries that thaw then freeze as ice on the roads and make life miserable if you go out. We are all getting stir crazy down here. Stay warm!

Hi Cathy!
ReplyDeleteIt's been snowin here all day and now they're saying more may be coming?!?!? We haven't had this much snow since 1914. I am soooo ready for geranium and petunia weather!
Casen is so cute. I don't think he minds working. Probably loves the plants. Stay warm. Spring will come.

I am ready for spring and the warm weather. Yesterday my DH found daffodils poking up through the snow around our asparagus patch. I can't wait to put in a garden.
ReplyDeleteStay warm,
Debbie
I knew you lived in Kentucky because of the barn quilt.
ReplyDeleteWe are inheiriting a farm this spring and would love to have what you do. Little shop...greenhouse.
I look forward to learning from you. I'd also like to see your place in person some day.
Can I please come hang out in the greenhouse? !
ReplyDeleteI am SO over all the snow !
I promise... working in a greenhouse would be heavenly... the smell of the dirt and the warmth would be so welcome after the long, long winter that we have had here in Utah.
Have a great day!
LOVE to see those flowers coming along. I can't wait for Spring.
ReplyDeleteIf you get a chance make sure you come by and visit. I am having an awesome giveaway and want to make you sure you enter to win.

Looks like you have great help. I can't imagine transplanting 1,000 tiny geraniums. I enjoy seeing your beautiful plants that you work so hard during the year to have.
ReplyDeleteYiker doodles! That's lots of snow!!The flowers will be wonderful! Love the painted quilt pattern on the barn.
ReplyDeletesmiles, alice
It may be cold outside, but it warms my heart to see your Barn Quilt.
ReplyDeleteNo snow here, but we have had more than usual fog rain and cold dreary days. Supposed to be sunny for a couple of days. Looking forwared to yard work....really.
Wow Cathy! I love love love geraniums. We used to have our kids plant before and after school...thousands of broccoli and cauliflower plants. Then do farmer's markets on weekends. We always paid them...they were faster than hired hands! hahaha....they are grown and they all know how to work. Casen will be a hard worker when he grows up.
ReplyDeleteGreat post...enjoy your blog and your posts!
Blessings,
Debbie
You have such a handsome little helper!
ReplyDeleteThis has been a long gray winter this year. So looking forward to spring. Mimi
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful greenhouse you have! What fun to see those seeds grown into beautiful plants. Happy weekend to you and your sweet helper. Susan
ReplyDeleteHi Cathy, I love your blog and all the cute things you make. You inspire me. I was wondering if you minded telling me how you make your bracelets. I have some old vintage pins and earrings I want to make a bracelet with but not sure how to attach them to the metal bracelet. Thanks for your help!
ReplyDeleteHi Cathy,
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for spring either. I love your valentines Day red vase and heart! its great.
Casen is growing up before my eyes. I remember how small he was when I started reading your blog.
He is so handsome and what a sweet little man to help out his Mom.
Take care and hugs,
Elizabeth

This is my first visit to your blog and have enjoyed it much.
ReplyDeleteYour photographs are wonderful!
Hi Cathy, I THINK I may have just found you! There are so many great blogs out there I have a hard time keeping track of who is who! From you picture, we could live in the same area! Even our pastor said he was sick of the weather and complained for about 5 mins. during the sermon..I think it led to his point! :) Anyway, we are going through seed catalogs and longing for digging in the dirt.
ReplyDeleteI see you have a store! I have a home based silk floral business and had a store for a bit.
Nice to meet you!
Donna
handsome helper you have there
