That's right friends, the Pansies are bloomin' and waitin' to find a new home. I wish all of you were close enough so I could share my flowers with you - but I'll keep sharing pretty pictures with you. That way you'll know what's bloomin' at Cobblestone Farms.
We actually had to put up another small greenhouse jus' to tide us over because we are soooooo full - once again, I must have gotten "seed happy" 'cause there are flowers every where. Shaun just looks at me and shakes his head like "What were you thinking?" hehe

Well, they (flowers) are simply a delight to me. Watching them from seed to sale just makes me happy. And the best thing is - they make everybody else happy too. So, I'll keep seedin' and we'll all be dreamin' of the warm days ahead so we can get our hands in the dirt and plant!
Happy Plantin' Friends!
Cathy

ReplyDeleteThey're all just beautiful, Cathy!

That is so beautiful!! I wish I lived closer to you. I would love to find a farm to take my children to so they can learn that real food doesn't come from a grocery store. And to see a real greenhouse... they see the ones at our local nursery, but that is just not the same thing. Thanks for the pictures!! :)
ReplyDeleteHow pretty!

That's SO Cool! I've never known anyone to grow pansies from seed. Here in Houston pansies start showing up in yards around October. Our winter is when they grow here. They definitley reach their peak here and we've moved on to other flowers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your pics because those are some of my favorite flowers and I miss seeing them.
I keep driving by my local nursery looking for some Pansies...nothing yet! But, I cannot wait!

ReplyDeleteIt is snowing...not time for flowers in my yard quite yet...sigh. I am an avid southern gardener and live in the north! I must wait many more weeks...another sigh! However, I did notice the tip of a Hosta poking though yesterday! (which is now covered in snow)
