...and many more to go!!!
Oh my goodness - I'm like - super slow this year. I'm one of those people who likes to decorate mid-November 'cause I just love Christmas and I want to enjoy it for as long as I can. Well, I'm just getting started and I think I better get busy!!!
This one is just a simple lil' tree - all in black and white, silver and lime. Some of my favorites colors. Tonight I'll do the bright red and green one - I think. So how is everyone else's decorating coming along? I'd love to see so I can be inspired by all my friends out there.
Hope you all have a splendid start to the week. Many blessings to you.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Cathy! How many trees do you put up?
ReplyDeleteHey Miss Audrey - I peeked at your Christmas pictures too - your house is looking beautiful. I put about 4 medium trees and some small ones - I'd do more but I don't have enough room. I just love Christmas so much! Happy Thanksgiving! Cathy

ReplyDeleteBTW, from the background of that pic, your home looks just as gorgeous. Would love to see more pics of it!!
Beautiful tree! My husband doesn't want me putting up any Christmas stuff till December (he loves Thanksgiving because "it's all about the turkey!"), so I usually try to wait till the day after Thanksgiving before I start pulling out all of our Christmas stuff.

Oh, how I wish I could hand deliver it, believe me if I could I would! I would love to see your shop and your green room!!!! I am with you on being behind!!! I feel so much presure and that's not what it is all about! Well, I hope you have a great Thanksgiving! Nancy

I so enjoy looking at the pictures of your decorating!! I don't decorate until after Thanksgiving. That's what we'll be doing on black Friday as opposed to shopping. We turn on the Christmas music and decorate all day!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'd love to know how many trees you put up as well...
Hugs & blessings to you~

Thank you all so much for the kind comments. Now, you know I tell you all over and over again - I live in a very small house - a simple country, not fancy at all, kind of house. But it is my home and I love it. I'm gonna try and answer some of your questions - I usually put up about 4 medium size trees and lots of lil' ones - I'd have one everywhere if I could but then we wouldn't be able to walk in here - hehe. The ribbon on the black and white tree (silver came from the dollar store, black and white check from a local flower shop, and the ornaments - mostly from the dollar store) Someone asked how I tied my ribbon - well I don't usually do bows - some - but now always. This ribbon is simply cut into long strips - tucked in the back of each branch - wrap a piece of the tree branch around the middle and then it will just kind of curl out. I always try to use wired ribbon - 'cause you can make it do just about anything. Thanks again for your sweet words - makes me want to keep on decorating. Happy Thanksgiving. Cathy
ReplyDeleteHi Cathy,
ReplyDeleteWow! Just lovely and the black and white ribbon just really tops it off. I will start my Christmas decorating after thanksgiving. I best get busy.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving,
Elizabeth
love the tree and can't wait to see more!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your colors. The black and white ribbon really shows up the lime. It is striking. I am usually finished decorating for Christmas by Thanksgiving too but not this year. Oh well I will enjoy it when its done. I can't wait to see more of "Cathy" decorating.

Beautiful tree!
ReplyDeleteI love the tree!! I too have a tree for Christmas that is white, with black and white ornaments and ribbons. Got my inspiration last year after the Christmas season. I also have a tree with all snowmen, and then one of traditional ornaments from the past and my children's ornaments also. Love your website and the pictures are beautiful!
